Line of the Day

Fashion designer Kenneth Cole came through the building a couple of months ago touting his new AIDS campaign. (Podcast Interview) The commercials and magazine ads include a bunch of celebrities with the slogan, "We All Have AIDS." So anyway, he dropped off a bunch of t-shirts with the slogan emblazoned on the front. One of my co-workers decided to wear the shirt today, making her the target of much derision, as that's not exactly what's considered proper work attire. The best line came from another co-worker. "You don't see anyone walking around with 'We All Have Genital Herpes' t-shirts."

Best line #2, from the archives, as this happened about a month ago around Christmas. A co-worker was walking around handing our gifts and saying Happy Hannakuh. When she got over to our area, she handed us the trinkets and turned to me and said, "I have some Kwanzaa stuff in the back if you're interested!"
